Employment Type: Full-time & Part-time (Day Shift - 6am-6pm) (Evening Shift - 6pm-1:30am)

About the Opportunities

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking dedicated and motivated Laboratory Assistants to join our Bowen Hills laboratory. We have multiple positions available including: 

After training has been provided, some of your duties will include (but will not be limited to):

• Full-Time and Part-Time Day Shifts: Work hours range between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday to Friday. A minimum of two shifts per week are required. The successful applicant will be required to participate in a rostered weekend and public holiday roster once appropriately trained.
• Full-Time and Part-Time Evening Shifts: Evening shifts run from 6:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday to Friday. A minimum of two shifts per week are required. Weekend day or night rostering and participate in public holiday roster may be required when appropriately trained.

About You

Prior knowledge/experience in a microbiology laboratory or in microbiology laboratory techniques will be advantageous.

The successful applicant will also ideally have:

• Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work methodically and efficiently whilst adhering to occupational health and safety policies
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively and provide excellent customer service
• Previous laboratory experience highly regarded but not essential
