Position: Pathology Services Assistant - Preanalytical Area
Location: Townsville, QLD
Employment Type: Full-time. The spread of shifts is from 07:00 am - 20:00 pm Monday - Friday, with participation in the Saturday roster. Flexibility to cover sick/annual leave is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- CAD Operator and Dispatch
- Answering incoming phone calls
- General administrative duties within the laboratory
- Scanning of request forms
- Processing and registration of samples for analysis
- Data Entry
- Specimen aliquoting and centrifugation
What we are looking for
The successful applicant must be flexible, have the ability to multi-task and have excellent attention to detail. The role requires an enthusiastic attitude and the proven ability to work in a busy environment.
The successful applicant will possess excellent customer service and communication skills in dealing with both internal and external customers.
