Please note: This is not a collecting/phlebotomy position
Position: Pathology Services Assistant/Dispatch
Location: Highland Park Hub, Gold Coast, QLD
Employment Type: Part time - The suitable candidate will be required to work on a rostered basis in shifts between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday and weekend shifts between 11am - 3pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Answering phone enquiries from referrers and collection centres regarding specimen transport
- Log and dispatch jobs via logistics management system for courier runs
- Sorting of reports and stores, arranging delivery

The successful applicant will possess:
Mandatory
- Good knowledge of the Gold Coast region
- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently, whilst adhering to occupational health and safety policies
- Excellent customer service
- Commitment to continuous improvement
- Commitment to SNP values
Desirable
- Previous experience in logistics management systems
- Ability to work autonomously with a proactive approach
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving ability
