About the Opportunities

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking dedicated and motivated Laboratory Assistants to join our Microbiology Department at the Bowen Hills laboratory. We have multiple positions available, including:

• Full-Time Day Shift: Work hours range between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm. Successful candidates will join a dynamic, supportive team and, once fully trained, will participate in a roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
• Full-Time and Part-Time Evening Shifts: Evening shifts run from 6:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday to Friday. The part-time position requires a commitment of at least two shifts per week. This is a great opportunity for those seeking flexible hours while contributing to meaningful work within the healthcare sector.

About You

Prior knowledge/experience in a microbiology laboratory or in microbiology laboratory techniques will be advantageous.

The successful applicant will also ideally have:

• Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work methodically and efficiently whilst adhering to occupational health and safety policies
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Provide excellent customer service
