Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an opportunity for a full-time Pathology Specimen Collector to join their Pathology Collection team in the Ballina Tamar Collection Centre.
You will work a variety of shifts between 6:30 am and 5:00 pm, so an individual with the flexibility to work between these hours is a must for the successful candidate. You will also be required to participate in a rotating weekend roster for a shift on Saturday from 8:00 am - 11:30 am.
Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients and maintaining positive relationships with external clients, GPs, and Medical Centre staff.

Successful candidates will embark on a comprehensive paid training course during their first twelve months of employment. Upon completion of training, candidates will receive an SNP training certificate.
The successful applicant must be meticulous, efficient, able to work alone or as part of a team and have a demonstrable history of attention to detail and customer service.

Applicants must possess a current First Aid Certificate and computer skills. Experience in venipuncture is desirable. A reliable vehicle and a current driver’s licence are essential.
