About Your Next Opportunity
Applications are invited for a Part-time Pathology Services Assistant/Courier to join the SRA Preanalytical team in our Grafton office.
The Department provides services Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:30, and Saturday, 07:30 to 10:30.
Participation in the Saturday roster is expected and on a rotational basis.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Specimen registration, data entry and processing
- Unpacking, receipting and distribution of specimens – you may be required to be on your feet for long periods and lift/carry eskies
- Dispatch of specimens to couriers
- Preanalytical preparation and processing, including centrifuging and aliquoting of specimens
- Courier car driving of samples within the NSW Mid/North Coast area.
About You
Suitable applicants should be enthusiastic, possess good communication and organisational skills and can work as part of a busy and multi-tasked team.
A high commitment to customer service, laboratory turnaround times and processing accuracy is required.
To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
