About Your Next Opportunity 

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to work full-time in the Cytology Department based in Bowen Hills, Queensland. The Cytology Department is one of the largest private Cytology departments in Australia and prides itself on quality and service excellence. This is a full-time position with a range of hours from 6 am to 6 pm with a view to participate in the on-call roster for weekends and public holidays. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Checking of both gynaecological and non-gynaecological cases referred from primary screening
• Preparing reports for Cytopathologists
• Supervision of scientific and technical work within the department
• Updating departmental documentation
• Maintenance of the quality system
• Human resource management
• Attendance at FNA procedures as required

About You

To be successful in this role you must have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Science or equivalent along with a CT(ASC) qualification. Significant cytodiagnostic expertise in a broad range of specimen types is highly desirable.
