About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is currently offering part-time Medical Typist positions within the Bowen Hills Histopathology Department. This position is for day shifts on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm along with participation in a rotating Sunday roster. The position will primarily involve the typing of macroscopic descriptions of specimens, with the ability to cover other administrative duties as required.
A good working knowledge of medical terminology is desirable, with experience in histological office procedures highly regarded. A typing speed of 50 words per minute is the minimum entry level.
Applicants should possess good communication skills together with an enthusiastic and flexible attitude to the working environment.
