About Your Next Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Facilities Administration Assistant to join the team, working between the hours of 7:30 am and 5:00 pm (flexible shift timings available - start at either 7:30 am or 8:30 am).
This role assists with the property maintenance processes for SNP Laboratories and Collection Centres in the greater Brisbane area.
Some more specific responsibilities will include:
- Effectively process and collate all paper and electronic accounts and services reports in a manner that ensures timely payments and accurate record-keeping
- Facilitate all invoicing through Rapid on a daily basis, including raising R&M’s/CAPEX
- Maintaining office stationery and repairs for all Brisbane laboratories and collection centres
- Troubleshoot and coordinate installation and repairs for all Brisbane laboratories and all Brisbane collection centres
- Organise and manage general cleaning and pest control contracts for the sites in the greater Brisbane area
- Learn and understand BMS, plant and services equipment used in Bowen Hills Laboratory, and be able to effectively use the BMS system for the Bowen Hills Laboratory
- Responsible to ensure that the most accurate and updated data-based information is available for the department
- Maintain relationships with external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks as needed
About You
If you have prior experience as an office administrator (or similar), and excellent time management and communication skills, then this is the role for you! This includes experience in the scheduling of property maintenance, and the ability to work efficiently with trades/contractors.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Experience in data entry and administration
- Can multitask and juggle competing priorities effectively and independently with high-level organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to accept and manage change, manage competing demands, and deal effectively with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
- Can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Is very computer literate, with a high level of competency in the Microsoft Office Package and experience in managing databases
- Ability to monitor and prioritise emails and work requests that come through on the group email inbox
- Candidates with experience working in the health, aged care, or community sectors with a natural knack for caring for others will also be highly regarded
- Strong professionalism and good external stakeholder skills
