Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a flexible and friendly part-time Courier Driver to join their team on the Fraser Coast (Hervey Bay/Maryborough).
Hours are part time Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week with a roster that will include 08:00 – 16:00, 08:30 – 16:30 and 09:00 – 17:00 shifts of 7.5 hours a day. The successful applicant would need to have the ability to work full-time as required to back up other staff in Hervey Bay and Maryborough for annual and sick leave. Training would involve an initial period of four weeks of full-time employment in order to learn the multiple courier runs and administration tasks.
In this role, you will pick up pathology specimens and drop reports and supplies to medical centres and Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology collection centres across the region. There will also be a requirement to perform administration tasks in receipting specimens picked up on the courier runs.
You'll possess a demonstrable history of reliability and strong customer service skills and be able to prioritise tasks. You will be familiar with Hervey Bay, Maryborough and the surrounding areas and be able to learn the multiple courier runs that operate across the region.
In addition, you'll be able to ensure the transport of pathology specimens, stores and medical records happens in a timely manner. You will also have the ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team which includes couriers, pathology specimen collectors and other laboratory staff, be able to prioritise tasks and work to a schedule, and have a proven ability to work efficiently and accurately.
You will need to have held a current C driver’s licence for a minimum of 5 years, have no infringements recorded, and have all 12 points at the time of application
