About the Opportunity 

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology Bowen Hills is now looking for full-time and part-time Data Entry Operators to work in the Bowen Hills Data Entry Team. Shifts are available between 7am - Midnight Monday to Friday, 9am - 6pm on Saturday and 12pm - 5pm on Sunday. Staff may be required to work different shifts daily to suit all duties within the department and must be available to participate in weekend rosters.  

You will confidently and in a timely manner:

• Perform data entry of patient episodes via Heads Up Data Entry system (visual request forms)
• Perform all tasks relevant to a particular shift or section of the department
• Uphold quality standards by complying with quality system policy
• Comply with occupational health and safety policy and procedures to ensure personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others in the workplace
• Satisfy the requirements of customers, both internal and external, through the provisions of reliable and efficient service levels
• Participate in in-service training as appropriate
• Perform special duties as required to contribute to the implementation of the strategic plan and to the Data Entry department, laboratory or organisation

The successful applicant must be flexible, have the ability to multi-task and have excellent attention to detail. The role also requires an enthusiastic attitude and the proven ability to work in a busy environment. You must have the ability to key 35 words per minute with an accuracy of 95%. 

The successful applicant will possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
