About the Opportunity

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has two exciting opportunities for full-time Laboratory Assistants to join our Processing Room Area and Archive Area in the Histopathology department of our Bowen Hills laboratory.

Processing Room duties may include:

• Processor maintenance
• Monitoring and changing solutions
• Maintaining safe and compliant chemical storage within the Dangerous Goods room
• Specimen storage/disposal
• Daily inventory

Archive Area duties may include:

• Block retrieval for Immunohistochemistry, Pathologists and other external requests
• IHC waste management
• Stores inventory

To thrive in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual who is flexible in your approach and has strong communication skills. You will be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and work as part of a team successfully. 

Moreover, you will have strong computer skills and be willing to do other general laboratory duties, as required.
