About Your Next Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an opportunity for a full-time Pathology Services Assistant to join their dynamic team in the Specimen Reception and Administration Area of their Birtinya and Kawana centres.
Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:
- Patient and pathology specimen registration
- Managing phone enquiries
- Preparation, registration and distribution of pathology samples
- Batching and preparation of specimens for transport
- Communication with the Courier team
This position offers a variety of shifts Monday to Friday between 8.00 am – 7.00 pm, with inclusion in the Saturday roster.
About You
The role requires an enthusiastic attitude and an employment history which shows initiative, attention to detail and proven ability to work in a busy environment.
The successful applicant will possess:
- Good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a busy and multi-tasked team
- A high level of commitment to customer service
- An understanding of medical and pathology terminology
- Strong keyboard skills and accuracy in processing
You will have a commitment to service excellence with good interpersonal and liaison skills.
