Your next opportunity

Now is your chance to take on a rewarding opportunity for you to kickstart your career and join our finance team in our state-of-the-art Bowen Hills head office. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will contribute to both financial and management accounting support to the Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology group of companies.

Your core duties will include:

  • Banking and transactional accounting duties, including daily cash reporting and payment processing;
  • Providing support and being the point of contact for all ANZ Corporate Card related matters;
  • Contributing to accurate and timely month end performance reporting activities. This includes expense account analysis, journal processing, report preparation and variance commentary;
  • Preparing statutory and management reporting;
  • Maintaining and reconciling our general ledger;
  • Assisting with 3rd party compliance including audit processes and tax compliance;
  • Contributing to operational budgeting and forecasting processes; and
  • Assisting with fixed asset accounting, including capital expenditure monitoring.

What you will bring to the team

First and foremost, you will possess a qualification in Accounting. You will be an enthusiastic and patient individual who has a strong willingness to learn and who is keen to develop their skills in all aspects of the Accounting process.

You will be naturally inquisitive and keen to develop a better understanding of the financial aspects of our organisation and will have the ability to work collaboratively in a small Finance team environment to ensure compliance is met.

Crucial to your success, you will possess the following attributes:

  • Ability to prioritise workload and work methodically and efficiently with high attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel

Although not essential, experience with Dynamics AX and corporate banking platforms will be highly regarded.
