About Your Next Opportunity

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an opportunity for a full-time or part-time People and Culture Coordinator to join the People and Culture team based at the Bowen Hills Laboratory.

Your primary responsibility will be support to the people and culture team to facilitate the delivery of services across the employment lifecycle.

 Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:

  • Provide a range of support services to the people and culture function, including responding to employee, manager and supervisor queries and escalating and redirecting issues as required to the People and Culture Advisor or Manager.
  • Liaise with managers on operational people matters and keeping them informed and supported, including coaching managers in relation to change management and workforce engagement.
  • Develop, monitor and update HR-related policies, processes, procedures and related documentation to ensure compliance with legislative requirements, standards, awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Advise and assist managers through any change management processes that have an industrial or business impact.
  • Support the People and Culture team in developing and integrating HR tools, systems and initiatives to achieve strategic objectives.

This Monday to Friday full or part-time role with flexibility on start and finish times 

About You

As a true generalist, the key to success will be your hands-on experience and demonstrated track record of HR and people and culture work, ability to and a deep commitment to creating environments in which people can thrive. The successful applicant will be committed to service excellence with good interpersonal and liaison skills and have demonstrated experience across a range of human resource functions such as recruitment, on-boarding, learning, employee relations and diversity.

Along with a desire to work in a workplace where trust and team spirit are integral components, you will be meticulous, efficient, and able to work alone or as part of a team.

You will have a relevant qualification in Human Resource Management, or a related field (minimum Cert IV)  or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Please Note: It is an inherent requirement of the role to be vaccinated against COVID-19 (currently, minimum 2 doses are required).
