Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity for a full-time Multi-Disciplinary Laboratory Scientist to join their Toowoomba Laboratories, working as part of a rotating 24 hour roster, which attracts significant penalty rates and the possibility of an additional 5 days annual leave.
The main aim of this varied role is to perform medical laboratory tests to provide advice for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases and other disorders. Duties may include:
The successful candidate will hold a relevant tertiary qualification in medical laboratory science or equivalent, with demonstrated knowledge of Haematology, Coagulation, Biochemistry, Immunohaematology and Microbiology disciplines.
You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated person who possesses a comprehensive understanding of pathology laboratory operations in addition to a high level of interpersonal communication skills, organisational skills and a commitment to customer service. It is imperative that you will have the ability to work autonomously and within a team, exercising problem-solving skills while providing timely and accurate results.
The high level of service provided by Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is delivered by a dedicated staff comprising of pathologists, scientists, technicians, laboratory assistants, collection personnel, couriers, computer personnel, pathology services assistants and other support staff.
