About Your Next Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an opportunity for a full-time Laboratory Pathology Services Assistant to join their dynamic team in their open plan and friendly Coffs Harbour Laboratory.
Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:
- Registration into the Apollo LIS
- Data processing, receiving and sorting
- Preparation, registration and distribution of pathology samples
- Batching and preparation of specimens for transport
This is a full-time time position. The spread of shifts is from 8.30 am – 7.30pm Monday - Friday, with inclusion in the Saturday roster.
About You
The role requires an enthusiastic attitude and an employment history which shows initiative, attention to detail and proven ability to work in a busy environment.
The successful applicant will possess knowledge of medical terminology, specimen processing, and data entry experience, and excellent customer service and communication skills.
You will have a commitment to service excellence with good interpersonal and liaison skills.
If you do not have a current First Aid Certificate, Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology will assist successful applicants to obtain.
Candidates who have experience working in the health, aged care or community sectors with a natural knack for caring for others will also be regarded highly.
