About Your Next Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a flexible part-time Evening Laboratory Scientist/Technician position to work in the Microbiology Department of their Bowen Hills Laboratory.
Current evening shifts are 6.00 pm – 1.30 am, Monday to Friday. Weekend day or evening shifts may be available once appropriately trained.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally. possess the following:
- Appropriate qualifications in medical laboratory science (or equivalent);
- Previous laboratory experience in a microbiology laboratory in particular microscopy and operation of current microbiology equipment/machines;
- A demonstrated theoretical knowledge of current microbiology testing practices;
- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective member of the team;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work methodically and efficiently, whilst adhering to occupational health and safety policies;
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- The ability to provide excellence in customer service; and
- A commitment to Sonic Core values and understanding of ethical considerations.
