Our team is growing and we now have an exciting new opportunity for a Content Writer and Producer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will be working on many marketing communications projects.

Reporting to the Supervisor, Publications and Communications, you will assist in high-quality content creation and production across print, digital and social media and support other marketing activities in line with operational and strategic objectives of the wider SNP Marketing Team. 

Core duties:

  • Print and Digital Marketing Communications
  • Event Management

You will also support the broader SNP Marketing Team by assisting with ad hoc duties and tasks.

About You

We are now looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our supportive team. You will possess tertiary qualifications in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or a related discipline, and proven experience in writing and content creation across print, digital and social media platforms

The successful candidate will be proactive, have high-level writing skills, and be able to craft elegant and concise content on a wide range of complex, technical, and scientific subjects. You will also be required to have strong proofreading and editing skills.

To succeed in this role, you will have meticulous attention to detail and be able to proofread basic and complex publications. As this role requires you to work on multiple projects simultaneously, sound time management is essential.

You will be working and developing relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and medical professionals. It is paramount that you are an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt and be flexible in your approach.

Although not essential, skills and experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Umbraco CMS, and related multimedia applications are highly desirable.
