About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Evening Laboratory Assistant to work in the Microbiology Department of the Bowen Hills laboratory.
Once appropriately trained, you'll be required to work a minimum of two evening shifts per week (currently evening shifts are 6pm-1:30am). Participation in a public holiday roster will be required when appropriately trained. Weekend day or night rostering may be available when appropriately trained. Prior laboratory experience, particularly in microbiology laboratory or in microbiology laboratory techniques will be advantageous.
The successful applicant will also ideally have:
- Demonstrated interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team;
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work methodically and efficiently, whilst adhering to occupational health and safety policies;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and
- Provide excellence in customer service.
