Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is one of the largest pathology practices in Australia, providing comprehensive services to patients and doctors over a geographic area throughout Queensland and New South Wales and employing more than 2000 people.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns and south to Coffs Harbour and provides a range of cardiac investigation & diagnostic services including Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring, Holter Monitoring and ECGs.
About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist to join their Coffs Harbour Laboratory on a full-time basis. Shifts will vary between 7:00am and 8:30pm Monday to Friday, with participation in a rotating weekend and on-call roster as required.
Experience in some or all of the following areas is required: Haematology, Blood Bank, Biochemistry, and Haemostasis; SRA, LIS, WHS, continuing education and quality systems.
The successful applicant must be meticulous, efficient, able to work unsupervised or as part of a team and show commitment to patient care and customer service. An AIMS-accredited medical laboratory science degree is a requirement.
The Coffs Harbour Laboratory of Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology promotes continuing education through support for conference attendance, and extensive in-house quality assurance programs, training and educational activities.
