Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns, across to Darwin and Alice Springs, and south to Coffs Harbour and offers both routine testing and specialised testing for referral laboratories throughout Australia.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has a rare and unique opportunity for a full-time Laboratory Manager to join their Tugun, Gold Coast team.
Reporting to the Executive Team, your main responsibility will be to manage the SNP Tugun laboratory within the framework of the SNP core values to ensure the delivery of an excellent pathology service.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as good organisational skills, and an extensive knowledge of pathology laboratory operations. An enthusiastic and flexible approach to the work environment is also essential.
Importantly, you will have a positive and proactive attitude, be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a degree in Medical Laboratory Science or similar from a recognised tertiary institution, and previous experience as a scientist and in management/supervision of staff.
Strong understanding of legislative, administrative, equity, professional and accreditation standards, and a dedication to planning and problem solving are also a must.
The high level of service provided by Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is delivered by a dedicated staff comprising of pathologists, scientists, technicians, laboratory assistants, collection personnel, couriers, computer personnel, pathology services assistants and other support staff.
