About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Specimen Reception Area Laboratory Assistant to work evening shifts in Histopathology.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- specimen reception;
- data input into Histology accessioning system;
- excellent computer skills are required;
- slide and block filing;
- ability to multi task in a fast paced environment; and
- general assistance to dissection staff
A high level of commitment to laboratory turnaround times, good communication skills and accuracy are essential as this position involves liaising with clinicians and their staff.
The successful applicant must possess an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their work, together with the ability to successfully work as part of a team.
