About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Payroll and Administrative Support Officer to work across our Cytogenetics, NIPT, Microbiology, and Molecular Pathology Departments based in Bowen Hills.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to staff currently performing such duties in these departments.
Day-to-day duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Processing and input of payroll data using the Kronos system;
- Various clerical and administrative tasks;
- Use of secure documentation systems such as Meridio or similar; and
- Administration of corporate travel arrangements
The position is full-time Monday to Friday.
About You
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in administrative, clerical, and/or a payroll position in addition to a familiarity with general medical and pathological terminology. Candidates who possess this experience and understanding will be at a distinct advantage.
Suitable applicants will need the following essential requirements:
- Computer literacy (Windows)
- Advanced skills in the use and application of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Strong literacy, grammatical, and numeracy skills
- A high degree of typing proficiency
- Skills in data management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with electronic payroll systems, particularly Kronos or similar
- Familiarity with secure documentation systems
- Strong attention to detail
- A willingness to increase skill base as required
- Efficient time management
- Organisational skills
It is important to note that training in relevant systems will be provided where appropriate.
