About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has multiple part-time opportunities for flexible Pathology Specimen Collectors to join their Moranbah Pathology team.
Your primary responsibility will be taking blood samples from patients.
Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to:
- Provide quality patient care for our patients;
- Treat our patients with care and compassion;
- Receive urine and faeces samples;
- Record patient information;
- Complete online training via our eLearning training system; and
- Liaise with referrers and ancillary services.
About You
Essential requirements:
- A commitment to service excellence
- Good interpersonal and liaison skills
- A desire to work in a workplace where trust, team spirit and equity are integral to everything that is done
- Current first-aid certificate
- Previous experience is not essential.
Upon completion of training, successful applicants will receive a Certificate III in Pathology Specimen Collection.
