Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns and south to Coffs Harbour.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology currently has an opportunity for a Manager - Health, Safety & Rehabilitation to join their team based in the Brisbane Laboratory on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Laboratory Executive Manager, you will drive the promotion and maintenance of a healthy and safe workplace and manage all aspects of incident reporting, investigation, return to work and Workers Compensation.
Core Duties:
To be successful in this position you will have a demonstrated understanding of Workers Compensation as well as experience with assisting people back to work. You will also have a great working knowledge of work health and safety legislation and codes of practice.
Experience as a trainer and the ability to facilitate training at all levels will help you hit the ground running in your new role, as will the capability to liaise and develop working relationships with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills are essential for success in this role, as you will be responsible for the health and safety of a large team. You will also need to be confident in your interpersonal, written and verbal skills.
A qualification in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy will be highly regarded, though not essential for this opportunity.
