About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Histopathology Laboratory Assistant to work in the Histopathology Department of the Bowen Hills laboratory.
Specific duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Slide and block filing;
- Slide and block retrieval;
- Organising sendaways retrieval and assistance for archive material, research, clinical trials and patient care; and
- General laboratory duties associated with the preparation and storage of histological slides.
A high level of commitment to laboratory turnaround times, good communication skills and accuracy are essential as this position involves liaising with clinicians and their staff.
The successful applicant must possess an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their work, together with the ability to successfully work as part of a team.
