Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns and south to Coffs Harbour and offers both routine testing and specialised testing for referral laboratories throughout Australia.
About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology are now taking applications for both a full time and full time (maternity relief) Medical Typist to join their dedicated team within the Bowen Hills Histopathology Department.
A good working knowledge of medical terminology is essential, with experience in histological office procedures desirable. A typing speed of 80 words per minute is minimum entry level.
Applicants should possess good communication skills together with an enthusiastic and flexible attitude to the working environment.
Histopathology operates as a 24 hour laboratory. The successful applicant for this position must be available to work shifts as required during these hours. Please note Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology are committed to ensuring a healthy work/life balance for all staff.
