About the Opportunity

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has a unique opportunity for a full-time Accounts Officer to join their Supply team based in Bowen Hills.

This exciting dual role is responsible for providing end to end procurement and supply support. You will work closely with the Supply team and our Accounts Payable department to manage the practice's inventory.

Core duties:

  • Assist with maintaining control over the GRNI (Goods Receipted / Not Invoiced) processes
  • Process credits with an understanding of Accounts Payable processes & business needs
  • Follow up of Main Laboratory and Regional Laboratory receipts
  • Utilise investigative skills, particularly around stock control variances
  • KPI reporting including sales orders on time in full / inventory levels / backorders / number purchase orders raised
  • Review and support system flows between Accounts Payable and Procurement 

This role requires a high level of multitasking and prioritisation, and in addition to the above, the opportunity involves assisting with a number of shared tasks including processing urgent order requests, vendor reconciliation, and internal customer liaising. You will also work directly with the supply manager and 2IC to support project-based workflows and end of month processes. 

About You

This role sits across two departments: accounts payable, and supply and purchasing. To be successful in this role, you will have a background in accounts payable, and a strong interest in expanding your professional skillset and learning more about inventory system management.

Previous experience in purchasing will be beneficial, but not required as you will be provided with all the training you need to be successful.

To hit the ground running in your new role, you will be a motivated self-starter with a commitment to providing excellent customer service and working cohesively within a small team. You will have experience providing support in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail, at the same time working accurately and efficiently.  

Your ‘can-do’ attitude will have you involved in a wide range of tasks within the Supply team and collaborative communication skills will see you working effectively with both internal and external customers.  The ability to navigate different IT systems & software and generate value-add reporting will also help you succeed in this role.

You will display initiative, resourcefulness and flexibility in your tasks and have great organisational, interpersonal and customer service skills to assist you in managing competing priorities.
