Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns and south to Coffs Harbour and offers both routine testing and specialised testing for referral laboratories throughout Australia.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an opportunity for a Facility Services Assistant to join our Essential Services Department at Bowen Hills on a full-time, permanent basis.
Reporting to the Essential Services Manager, you will assist in the coordination of property maintenance processes for the SNP Laboratory at Bowen Hills, as well as all other laboratories and collection centres in the greater Brisbane area. This will include responding to electronic and phone requests regarding building maintenance issues (including emergencies); coordinating and liaising with sub-contractors and SNP Area Managers; and conducting a number of administrative duties with a focus on effective processing of all accounts and services reports.
Previous experience in and/or exposure to a facilities management environment, and an understanding of building management control systems, will be highly regarded. You must be highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure and follow instructions.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and a high level of corporate professionalism will be key to your success in this role, as you will be regularly communicating with SNP specialist teams and external stakeholders. You will be competent in the Microsoft Office suite and have the ability to work effectively in a small team.
Importantly, you will have a positive and proactive attitude, with a hands-on approach to your work and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
