Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology (SNP) is one of the largest pathology practices in Australia, providing comprehensive services to patients and doctors over a geographic area throughout Queensland, Northern New South Wales and Northern Territory, and employing more than 2000 people.
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology services the Brisbane metropolitan area and regional areas extending as far north as Cairns, across to Darwin and Alice Springs, and south to Coffs Harbour and offers both routine testing and specialised testing for referral laboratories throughout Australia.
About the Opportunity
Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has a full-time opportunity for a Regional Manager located in Townsville.
Reporting to the Executive, your chief responsibility will be to manage the SNP Townsville regional and liaison activities within the framework of the SNP core values to ensure the delivery of an excellent pathology service.
The Townsville Regional Manager is responsible for developing strategies for operational and regulatory management of the area including, but not limited to, financial, budgetary and human resource management.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills will be key to your success in this role as well as good organisational skills, an extensive knowledge of pathology laboratory operations, excellent understanding of legislative, administrative, equity, professional and accreditation standards and a dedication to planning and problem solving.
Importantly, you will have a positive and proactive attitude, be enthusiastic and self-motivated with a relevant degree from a recognised tertiary institution, a higher professional qualification applicable to pathology service and previous management experience.
Well- developed communication skills, and an enthusiastic and flexible approach to the work environment are essential.
