Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Medical Laboratory Scientist to join their Toowoomba Laboratory.
This is a challenging role which offers the development of a broad skills base and allows the scientist to develop closer working relationships with medical and nursing staff.
Applicants will have appropriate degree/diploma in Medical Laboratory Science and have experience in all major disciplines including Haematology, Biochemistry and Immunohaematology.
The successful applicant will ideally have advanced skills in Immunohaematology and will be required to participate in a 24-hour roster, including after hours and weekend shifts which attracts significant penalty rates and the possibility of an additional 5 days annual leave.
Importantly, you will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as an effective and supportive team member. Excellent organisational skills are also essential, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and work accurately and efficiently.
