Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has a varied, full-time opportunity for a Facility Services Assistant to join our Essential Services Department at Bowen Hills.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you will assist in the coordination of all aspects of property maintenance for the Main SNP Laboratory at Bowen Hills, as well as all other Brisbane laboratories and collection centres. This will include responding to electronic and phone requests regarding building maintenance issues (including emergencies); coordinating and liaising with sub-contractors and SNP Area Managers; and conducting a number of administrative duties, with a large focus on the processing of invoices.
Our ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in and/or exposure to a facilities management environment, ideally with an understanding of building management control systems.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and a high level of corporate professionalism will be key to your success in this role, as you will be regularly communicating with SNP specialist teams and external stakeholders. You will be competent in the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
Importantly, you will have a positive and proactive attitude, with a hands-on approach to your work and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a demanding, fast-moving environment.
